Okay, let's get this clear, Mew Ringo is not the new manga or anime character, she is a character made up for the PlayStation game of Tokyo Mew Mew. I think she is related to Ichigo. When you buy the PS1 game you get a free manga with Ringo in it, as well as her character single CD

About: Berii is set to be the new leader of the group in the new Tokyo Mew Mew story arc, Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode, which began in Nakayosi April 2003. She is a bit like Ichigo but she doesn't seem to be as much of an airhead ^^;; And she has a crush on a boy her age called Megu Tasuku. Who, himself is a bit of a daredevil, he rollerblades a lot and jumps from high-places, sometimes carrying Berii with him.
Berii first transforms in this act, after having collided with Shirogane who catches her in his arms, and gives her an invite to Cafe Mew Mew. When she's there she runs out after having caught Shirogane by surprise he shouts at her, she runs over the Mew-Project cat-beam-thing testpad, and is injected with rabbit and cat DNA. She then transforms into Mew-Berry.
Berii first mets the other Mew Mew girls in Chapter 4 of Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode, where after being attacked by a member of the Saint Rose Crusaders and the students at her school he is controlling, the girls turn up to help, after he flees with another member, Berii is taken to see Ryou and Akasaka by the girls, who informs her about her new abbilitie. She then mets Ichigo in Chapter 5.

She is a famous celebrity, very cold at times, and she thinks a lot of herself a lot of the time. She is the oldest and is very natsy to other people at times (she tells one boy she would rather be alone than with him), she's rather snooty, but not as much in the anime, where she is much more of a loner than in the manga. At first she does not want to join the group, in the anime it takes a few episodes to persuade her. But after she is attacked at a TV set, she agrees to join. But she is still very cold. She first appears in episode 9 of the anime, and we see her in manga chapater 1, but she doesn't come into the lime light until chapter 8. There isn't really as much to say about Zakuro as some of the others, she tends to keep her personal feelings to herself: even though she is cold, she still has a nice side, as it was her who caused the girl in Chapter 1 who was bullying Retasu to go away, and when she is nice, or does give advice, most of the others are intimidated by her. Minto absolutely adores her, calling her "Onii-sama" And if Zakuro says something goes, then Minto immediately follows. Zakuro also tends to be mean, in order to be nice, even if the character at the time doesn't know it. In the anime she works in Cafe Mew Mew, but nobody recognises her because of her sharp attitude with people.

Pudding is the bounciest and most energetic of the group. She is constantly on the move, and is a very skilled gymnast. She is young and enthusiastic, her ability to want to help and entertain all the time, can cause problems, she annoys Ichigo some of the time, and her enthuasiam often leads to her breaking things, or causing trouble. We first she her (though she isn't named) at the beginning of act 1, where she defends Lettuce from the bullying girls. She first transforms Chapter 5, when Kisshu shows up and causes havoc. And is introduced in Episode 7 of the anime, she is performing in the streets. She uses the ending "na no da" And it is pretty obvious she is chinese. Her bounciness often gets her into trouble, at a contest once, instead of dancing like the other girls, she decided to show off her talents of fire breathing, spinning plates and banging a gong: causing the judge to go quite mad. At Cafe Mew Mew, her outstanding gymnastic abilities help her out a lot, allowing her to do several things at the same time. Pudding also has several brothers and a sister, whom she used to have to look after all the time by herself.

Lettuce is very shy and nervous, the one thing in the world she would like is courage. She has been picked on by people all her life, when we meet her in her Mew-Mew form it is her that has been terrorising the school in the form of what people think is a ghost. She tells Ichigo that she doesn't care, and that people have picked on her, and used her. She is a very nice person though, but very clumsy with two left-feet. She tends to make a mess at cafe mew mew, spilling deserts and coffee everywhere making workfor Ichigo. She often needs encouraging if she is going to do something: when the girls are attacked by chimera-anima on a boat, it is Lettuce who saves them, because of a few kind words from Shirogane: infact, even though Shirogane is terribly mean to Ichigo some of the time, he is always pleasant and nice to Lettuce Before Lettuce joined the mew mews she couldn't swim, it was only until she saved teh girls that she managed to do it.
